You're Invited

I'm pleased to announce two new pop-up shows in Idaho this month.

On Sunday, August 19, I will be exhibiting my most recent creations, a series of "mosaic light paintings", created this summer in McCall, Idaho. The show will take place at the Surprise Valley Farmhouse, 5240 S. Surprise Way, in Boise, from 1 pm to 7 pm. I'm particularly grateful to my Aunt and Uncle, Dee and Joe Conrad, who live in Surprise Valley, for hosting this event. With the extreme heat we've been having, I'm glad that I'm able to share my new work with you in an air conditioned space. If you are in the Boise area, I hope you'll be able to stop by and experience these new works with me.

Then, on Saturday, August 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., I will be showing my work again on the grounds of Ruby's Cafe in McCall, Idaho. Ruby's Cafe is located at 324 West Lake Street in McCall, directly across from Rotary Park on Lake Payette. That's on the other side of the bridge, next to Shore Lodge. Rudy's has quickly become everyone's favorite breakfast and lunch spot, offering healthy, tasty food as well as products to take home. Please come and enjoy a meal or drinks on the grassy area under the pines. With plenty of room, this will be a fun show, I am sure. Thanks to Misty at Ruby's Kitchen for sponsoring this event.

I'm working on an additional event in Boise, to be announced. Meanwhile, I hope you'll enjoy getting a peek at some of the works on display, but be sure to make a point of coming to see them in person. Because of the transparency of the glass, the pieces change with the light, making them interesting to see at different times of day or with different light sources. The magic of the pieces is in seeing them. I hope you are intrigued to come and take a look for yourself.
