Since 1994, in the garage of my first apartment on Elgin Park in San Francisco, CA, I have been creating my own unique art form, a delightful play of colored glass, cement, mosaic, and light.

The Mosaic Glass Globe Lamp is the light form I have been playing with since my beginnings in mosaic. Underneath the glass, I use found words and images to create an illuminated personal poem, a unique world view. Whether it’s a studio piece or a private commission, I like to imagine what forces are illuminating the globe I will make. I incorporate the "subtext" of one's life underneath the glass pieces, so each one is very personal. This is a great nightlight or mood light that is the perfect gift for weddings, birthdays, or any other special occasion, as it can be completely personalized for the recipient. Approximately 9" tall. Complete with weighted base and electrical cord.
